Great Jerky recipe, simple and delicious.

Jerky

1 pound of meat

2 Tbsp. Garlic Powder

2 tsp. Black Peper

2 tsp. Cure

1/4c Ice Water

Mix all for 5 min until sticky texture.  Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.  Make jerky stick as desired.

Crust recipe from Allrecipes.com

1 cup white rice flour

3/4 cup butter

1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

1/4 cup potato starch

1/4 cup tapioca starch

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until crumbly; press into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake until crust is bubbling, about 18 minutes.

1/4 cup boiling water

1 pkg. (3 oz) Jell-O (any flavor)

1/4 cup lime/lemon juice (depending on Jell-O flavor)

1 tub Cool Whip

2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit to compliment the Jell-O flavor

  1. Add boiling water to gelatin, mix in large bowl; stir 2 min.  until completely dissolved.  Add lime/lemon juice.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip, save some Cool Whip to dollop on top if you wish.
  3. Spoon on top of crust and freeze 4 hours or until firm.  Let stand at room temperature 10 min. before serving.
  4. Top with fruit and Cool Whip as desired.
